In March 2017 Local Connections Halifax will be launching the second edition of The Curated Guide. While there will be a number of additions and improvements (TBA), the core of the guide will remain food & drink listings. Curated ones, meaning only the best places will make the cut.
Starting today we are opening up nominations to restaurant goers like yourself, which means you now have the opportunity to nominate your favourite places to eat and/or drink in Nova Scotia. This will help us to discover some new places and make decisions on others we're considering.
PLEASE NOTE: THE NOMINATION PROCESS CLOSES SEPTEMBER 15. AT CLOSING, TWO ENTRIES WILL BE RANDOMLY SELECTED AND WILL EACH RECEIVE TWO TICKETS TO THE CASK BEER THROWDOWN.
SO, WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE PLACES TO EAT AND DRINK IN NOVA SCOTIA?
The process is simple. In the comment section below, tell us who some of your favourite food & drink destinations are and why. You can repeat this process and many times as you like, but please consider the following before proceeding:
The Curated Guide has a preference towards locally owned food & drink establishments who use locally produced/made products. This includes, but is not limited to places who serve NS craft beer, wine, cider, coffee, and distilled products.
The Curated Guide is only interested in the very best establishments. Nothing below a rating of 85/100 will do.
Our geographical borders for 2017 are currently limited to the Halifax Urban Core, South Shore, North Shore (new), and Annapolis Valley.
Prior inclusion in the 2016 guide does not guarantee inclusion in the 2017 edition.
